We are excited for you to log on and start experiencing the USA EAT FIT program! You may want to print this page for easy access. Let's get started!
- If you haven't already done so, Join USA EAT FIT to get your username and password.
- From the main USA EAT FIT page (http://www.usaeatfit.com), enter your username
and password and log in.
- Fill in your personal settings.
- Log off and then log back on.
- You will be greeted by a Welcome screen.
- Scroll down to Weight Loss Consultant (in the OTHER TOOLS pull-down menu) and input your statistics and goal. Your goal will dictate the type of plan prescribed for you. You will discuss your goal with your nutrition coach.
- Input your information and save your program in the Weight Loss Consultant. The Weight Loss Consultant will offer you a caloric guide.
Tips for Success!
- The more you put into the program, the more you will get out of it.
- It is best to start by saving 10-15 of your favorite foods or foods that you eat often, into the Custom Foods library. Scroll down to Custom Foods in the Other Tools menu, then click on GO!. Make sure that they are not already in the database before you save them
- Save the information exactly as it is printed on the package food label. You will be able to indicate the portion that you usually eat later.
- Although this process will take you a half hour or so now, it will drastically speed up your daily logging time later.
- Start logging your daily food intake and recording your daily exercise.
Your coach will be monitoring your intake and activity and will contact you within the next 48 hours. He/she will contact you either through an e-mail directly to your personal e-mail inbox, or he/she will leave you a message on the Journals & Photos page, found in the pull-down menu of OTHER TOOLS.
