Using the Recipe Builder


Maximize the Overall Food Library with Ease:

Record your Favorite Recipes
Search for Recipes & Intake Quantities
Research Nutrition Contents
  1. Log on and scroll down to Recipe Builder in the Other Tools menu. Click GO!
  2. Type in the name of your recipe, the author, and the number of servings.
  3. Click SAVE. Your recipe will show up in the box to the right.
  4. Click on the name of your recipe. Doing this will allow you to start adding ingredients to your recipe.
  5. Click on ADD
  6. Search for your ingredient. Once you find the ingredient, indicate the portion size that is needed for your entire recipe.
  7. Click Add to Recipe.
  8. Repeat steps 5 - 7 until you have included all of the ingredients.
  9. Write in the directions for making the recipe (optional).
  10. Click on Get Nutrition Sticker to see the nutrition contents of one serving of your recipe.

Tips for SUCCESS!!

  • This is a great tool for busy folks who like to make large meals/snacks and then "pick" on them all week.
  • When you search for the recipe from your food journal, you will have the chance to indicate the portion that you actually consumed.
