Many USA EAT FIT clients find themselves eating the same things every day. If you tend to do this, then the Fast Meals feature is ideal for you! Fast Meals will help reduce the amount of time you spend entering your daily diet information.
Rather than logging each item every morning, you can save time by saving an entire meal in the Fast Meals section. For example, Daily Breakfast = one piece of toast, one piece of cheese, 2 egg whites, and 4 oz of orange juice.
- Once logged on, scroll down to Fast Meals in the Other Tools menu. Click on Go!
- Enter a name for your meal and click on SAVE. Your meal’s name will appear in the box on the right.
- Click on the name of the meal. A box will appear below with the words ADD and REMOVE. Click on ADD.
- Type in the item that you are looking for (eg orange juice).
- When you find the item, click the bubble next to it, and indicate the portion size that you typically consume. Your choice will appear on your screen.
- For each additional item in your meal, click ADD and repeat steps 4 and 5 until all food items in your meal have been added. As you add each item, it will appear at the end of the list on your screen.
- Return to the Food Journal and search for your Fast Meal.
- Click on ADD, then on Fast Meals.
- Choose the meal that you just entered. Add it to your Food Journal and all of the items will be uploaded into your day’s journal.
