Karen , Houston, TX Losing Inches and Gaining Energy
--2006-06-18 The key has been that I don't really feel like I'm on a diet at all.
So, despite having a few cheat meals, I've still lost a significant amount of weight. You were right, I just needed to be patient. And now I have evidence that having a few healthy carbs, and even a cheat meal once in a while does not make me fat. This just feels so moderate and healthy and do-able for me, even on a long-term basis.
Thanks for everything, you are awesome and this program is perfect. I can see making this a part of my long term program, and just making the fee a part of the regular grocery bill budget to make sure I'm on track. I hope you don't get tired of me and have to chase me off!

Jennifer , Houston Into My Skinny Jeans!
--2006-05-28 Hi there! I am still here and slowly making progress. I am losing inches. I can officially wear my skinny jeans without sucking in! I have a better understanding of portion sizes and calories and do feel so much better! Goof ups happen time to time, but to a lesser extent than they used to. What's crazy is I don't constantly think about food or have food cravings like I used to.
I read food labels like novels. I am running and trying to up my workouts. It is difficult with the many demands of family, but I'm making the commitment to stick to it!
I am a changed woman! It really is about eating the right things, portion control and exercise - a lifestyle, not just a diet! Thanks for your help! -Jennifer

--2006-05-21 It is going GREAT! I love having a person to be accountable to most of all. I love the food journal. I hadn't notice how much extra eating I was doing (like picking at food as I made the kids lunches etc) until I had to tell someone what I ate. My coach is a wonderful encouragement and really listens to me and has given me great tips. I am doing everything she says. Today I bought low fat butter and cheese and have reduced my portions as she suggested. She gave me a recipe for muffins that I am going to make tomorrow (me, baking - who would have believed it!?!?). So far I have lost 5 pounds, that is in 2 weeks! I also started my video exercise program.

--2006-05-14 I think what has helped me the most is sticking with program. Making sure that I input everything keeps me more focused and aware of my eating habits. Even though there are days that aren't great, the system keeps me dedicated. It also helps to have Catherine monitoring my diet and giving advice/suggestions to improve the quality of my diet. Thanks for your help EAT FIT.
Karen , 20 Lbs. Lost!
--2006-05-07 Had a very good run tonight - finished strong with a lot of energy. I haven't felt like this running in a while. For the month before I started this, every run was getting harder and harder, and I was unsure if I could finish each time I went out. Now, I'm feeling good and my legs feel strong while I'm running.

--2006-04-18 Having done both NutriSystem and Weight Watchers, I really like EAT FIT the best. The daily contact really is helpful to keep me on track and tracking the calories is so much easier on a computer log than handwriting. I like that I'm not told what to eat specifically, just advice on healthy choices. I'm much more excited and motivated to stay on track with this program... -Val

--2006-04-02 I'm trying hard every day to convince myself that I am worth this. It's hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but I do know that I feel better, and lighter on my feet. Consistency is the key. Logging my food every day keeps me accountable. Once I got the hang of it and started using the Custom Foods and Fast Meals feature, it all seemed to make sense. I love seeing how what I am eating is directly affecting my body.
Anonymous , Losing Body Fat and Retaining Lean Muscle
--2006-03-03 Feeling great! One of my friends at the gym said that I must be living right because I look great. That was a nice compliment. I'm starting to see a difference in my body and that's very exciting! It's easier now to envision reaching my goal weight. I haven't studied nutrition but I was a college athlete so diet was very important. I had to educate myself on how to fuel my body. My eating did not get distorted until I tried LOW CARB. Ever since then, I had a distorted view of what was "good" for me. I would eat a steak instead of a piece of fruit! What I am learning from EAT FIT is so valuable. I'm finally starting to understand how people can maintain their weight on a balanced diet.

--2006-02-18 I weighed 228 today!!!! Yoohoo!! I wasn't sure how I'd do. Since I was swamped at work and a little under the weather, I only ran once this week before our long run on Saturday. But there it was - 2 lbs lost!! Boy I'm really getting pumped!
:-) As of today, I've now lost 15 lbs.! Go USA EAT FIT!!

--2006-01-08 I have been getting a lot of compliments about my weight loss and I've been feeling pretty proud , but I was just in a couple of pictures with my dad, and I was still disappointed with the way that I looked. I'm starting to think "What did I look like before?" The pictures are really motivating me now though. I'm excited to keep seeing results.
Carolyn , Tampa Bay Fit 15 Pounds lost!
--2005-12-04 I have lost 15 lbs to date, with about 25 to go (I am 5’6" and started at 200 lbs). In the past, I’ve participated in Weight Watchers meetings and South Beach Diet Online and can attest that the level of individualized service from USA Eat Fit is far superior.
Personally, changing my poor eating habits has not been easy, but I’m getting there one day at a time. Mindi, my nutritionist, has been wonderful in helping me to figure out what works for me (‘cause we’re all different, right?) and getting me back on track when I stray.
I am moving ahead, and you should too.
Judy , My Holiday Food Plan 10 Lbs.
--2005-11-20 My Thanksgiving plan is simple. Since I am eating at my brother's house, my plan is to use portion control. I have some Thanksgiving favorites that I will not deny myself of. Instead, I am just going to be conscious of the portions. I will skip the butter, skip the gravy, and skip the alcohol. After all, I'd rather save my calories for other delicacies. I will allow dessert on Thanksgiving Day, but I will choose only one dessert and I will ask for a half-portion. I will savor every bite, but realize that Thanksgiving is about family and friends and NOT food! I am worth this extra effort!
